PulseWave Shockwave Therapy delivers acoustic pulses to a targeted area in short sessions, as one part of a personalized recovery plan.

- Neck, back or shoulder pain that hasn’t settled
- Knee, heel or foot pain that keeps coming back
- Tendon or soft-tissue pain that’s lingered
- An injury that’s been slow to recover
- Wanting a non-invasive option while you stay active
Understanding PulseWave Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy uses a handheld applicator to deliver a series of quick, focused acoustic pulses into a specific area of soft tissue. It’s non-invasive, involves no injections, and the treatment itself takes only about 5 to 10 minutes.
Research continues into how shockwave therapy works and which conditions it suits best. Your provider will be clear about whether it makes sense for you, and it’s most often one part of a broader plan.
- 01
An evaluation first
We pinpoint where your pain is coming from and whether shockwave is a reasonable fit.
- 02
Targeting the area
Your provider locates the area precisely and applies a small amount of gel.
- 03
A short session
You’ll feel a series of quick, focused pulses, like rapid taps, for about 5 to 10 minutes. Intensity is adjusted to what you can comfortably tolerate.
